Irish Spring - Flower Centerpiece

Today we are decorating the home with Spring and St. Patrick's Day in mind.  Making an easy, quick and attractive centerpiece is what we are about today.

With some store bought mini daffodils, potting soil, a few craft items and soup terrine, put together an "Irish Spring" for ourselves!

This is what we used:

Mini daffodils. Potting soil. Rocks for drainage. Terrain as planter.

                              First we cleaned our planter.

Than we cleaned our drainage rocks we found in the yard.

Moving on we placed our clean rocks inside our clean
container.

And filled our container half way up with soil.

Than planted our daffodils.

We wanted to add a little embellishment to our centerpiece and came up with this idea. We found some discounted tags at the craft store and used our rubber letter stamps to print out some words.

A little green bakers twine for hanging the tags with works fine.

The handles on the container worked perfect to tie on the mini banner we made.

Good to be Irish and have faith.

A little luck is always a blessing too!

Spring is in the air here, at least inside the house.
How is it your part of the woods?

Wishing you an Irish Spring!

Mercy and truth preserve the king,
And by loving kindness he upholds his throne.
Proverbs 20:28

P.S. I wonder if you could help me? If you have time, could you pop on over to my blog and give an opinion on my post about blog etiquette? I had a question and I'd love some answers from seasoned bloggers. Thanks so much :)

  2. how smart! I never would have thought to actually plant something in that lovely pot, mine would end up with something fake in it LOL. Wonderful centerpiece!
